-any practitioner worth his salt must use acup,herbs & massage etc for every treatmt due to their synergistic effect , otherwise the patient is being shortchanged.

Acupuncture I accept the reality that herbal medicine is the therapy of choice for most of those that come to my door, but "acupuncture" is definitly the "flavor of the month" with it currently being so heavily touted in the mainstream media. So Herbal medicine is a bit more of a hard sell. I once attempted perscribing Bu Zhong Yi Qi Tang to a patient only to be put in my place with "I came for acupuncture not to be sold more vitamins". This incident fully illistrated the need for patient education on Chinese herbal medicine from not only once they come in the door, but even before...Jason...

Acupuncture Acupuncture is one of the most requested modality of treatment for many ailments in Italy. Non Conventional Medicines including Acupuncure,have been, after long discussions,accepted by the Italian General Medical Councils, as a method of treatment,provieded they are carried out by spcifically trained MDs.

Acupuncture Acupuncture is most by far the most requested modality that we use. Traditional chinese herbal medicine may be more effective in treating many chronic complaints but acupuncture is just more popular with the public at large. For instance no physician has ever referred for herbs.-Justin
