Acupuncture Today Continues To See Unprecedented Growth
As Profession Soars, Publication Increases Reach
By Editorial Staff
For the past decade, the profession has seen steady growth in stature with legislators and the general public. The growing presence of the profession has been directly reflected in the growth of our publication.
As the leading publication for the profession, Acupuncture Today has remained committed to providing the most up-to-date news, research and information for the past 12 years. Throughout this time, we can proudly report that our circulation has consistently increased by 10 to 15 percent every single year. As of the most recent issue of AT (Oct. 2013) our total copies mailed were 28,273. That is more than 3,300 additional providers than last year. We also reach more than 4,600 students.
We have also established a strong social media presence. AT currently reaches more than 10,500 providers from around the world through our Twitter and Facebook pages combined on a daily basis.
The new AT APP will further increase our outreach to domestic and international readers. Today, acupuncturists see an average of 2,500 patients per year. Profession-wide, this represents 42.5 million patient visits annually.
We look forward to continuing to grow our publication as acupuncture becomes available to a larger part of the general population.
