Dr. Shellie Rosen, DOM, L.Ac. Presents Tactics for Integrating Supplements into a TCM Practice

GREEN BAY, WI (May 3, 2012)— The role of a TCM (Traditional Chinese Medicine) practitioner is changing as the medicine itself is changing around the world. A growing number of practitioners are expanding their knowledge base and venturing into not only understanding the effect of supplementation on their patients, but becoming prescribers of supplements.

As practitioners recognize the wisdom in guiding their patients toward supplementation, there is a need for easily implemented and efficacious protocols, an understanding of what quality means and how to combine herbal therapies with dietary supplements.

"In an ideal world, organic, whole foods would be optimally absorbed for life. Thankfully, health-minded products exist to support us when external or internal factors create imbalances," explains Dr. Shellie Rosen, a licensed Doctor of Oriental Medicine and licensed Acupuncturist.

On June 7th, 2012 Dr. Rosen will host a free webinar titled, "What the Chinese Medical Provider Needs to Know About Supplementation". In this webinar, Dr. Rosen will discuss the implementation of dietary supplements into the TCM practice, review what to look for when choosing a supplier, and present real-world examples of how supplements can be included into existing TCM protocols.
