Santa Monica, CA (August 24, 2011) – Emperor's College of Traditional Oriental Medicine is pleased to announce that Acupuncturists Without Borders will hold a 15 PDA/CEU training (NCCAOM, CA, TX) at Emperor's College in Santa Monica, California, on December 3 and 4, 2011.
This two-day CEU entitled "Healing Community Trauma: How To Do Acupuncture In The Field For Traumatic Events" will teach participants the skills and knowledge needed for working with severely traumatized communities and individuals. Disaster relief, team leadership, mobile clinic development, community acupuncture logistics, safety and ethics will also be addressed. Participation in an AWB training is not solely for the purpose of becoming an AWB volunteer. All attendees are welcome, whether or not you will become or already are an AWB volunteer.
