TMF 2015 Scholarships

By Editorial Staff

The Trudy McAlister Foundation (TMF), a nonprofit organization established to support students who are on track to make contributions either to clinical practice and/or to the understanding of the role of Traditional Oriental Medicine, has announced the 2015 scholarship recipients.

Five scholarships in the amount of $2000 each were awarded to the following:

  • Elizabeth B. Barrett, Florida College of Integrative Medicine
  • Heather Gail George, NCNM
  • Amy Green, Won Institute of Graduate Studies
  • Taissa Kira, Florida College of Integrative Medicine
  • Colleen Teska, AOMA

In the past, TMF has awarded four annual scholarships, however, this year an additional scholarship was made possible by the generous donation of Golden Flower Herbs. As TMF continues their support of educating the future of Traditional Oriental Medicine they hope to increase the number of scholarships they can award.

The Board and Advisors for the Foundation are: Gene Bruno, OMD, LAc; William B. Pettis, MS, DOM, LAc; Roni Wilbur, MSOM, LAc; Pamela Lee, PhD, LAc; and William Prensky, MS, OMD, and Martin Herbkersman, DAc.
