Summer Solutions: Managing Heat

As we move in the warm summer months, it becomes important for
clinicians to be aware of the relationship of the patient to their
seasonal environment. I have discussed this important concept in several
past columns and will now address the idea of how the summer season and
in particular, excess sweating, can be harmonized and balanced by
